Privacy
What we collect, and what we don’t.
This is a plain description of how Gather Ahead handles information today, published so you can read it before you type anything into this page. It is not the finished privacy policy. That one is being written with counsel and will replace this page before general availability.
This public page
If you use the early-access form, we store the email address you enter, the browser user-agent string your device sends, and the time you submitted it. Your network address is not stored: it is converted to a one-way hash that lets us count repeated submissions from the same source and cannot be turned back into an address.
That is the only information this page collects. There are no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, and no cookies set by this page.
The private workspace
The workspace itself is a separate, password-protected site that search engines are told not to index. Inside it, a family stores the information and document copies it chooses to put there, which can include health, care, and financial records. That content is:
- visible to the people who hold the workspace password, and to no one else;
- stored in private file storage and a private database, not published anywhere;
- never sold, and never used to advertise to you or anyone.
When someone uses the Ask feature, the question and the relevant excerpts from that workspace’s own documents are sent to an AI provider in order to produce the answer. Nothing else about the family is sent, and the answer is not shared outside the workspace.
Getting your information out, or deleted
The workspace exports everything it holds as one file at any time. To have a waitlist entry or a workspace and its documents deleted, email brian@builtrevenue.com and it will be removed.
Who operates this
